This year’s Riverland Wine and Food Festival (RWFF) attracted a record crowd with 2,500 locals and visitors attending the sell-out event.
Overlooking the Murray River at Berri, the RWFF is a highlight of the Riverland events calendar, bringing the community together to enjoy all the things that make this region great – showcasing the region’s wine, cider, beer and spirits along with delicious food and non-stop entertainment in a unique shady environment.
Festival organisers said the event went “fabulously well” and said it was the first time the event has been sold out. Planning next year’s event will start shortly and feedback is invited as part of the review. Email Riverland Wine (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your suggestions and comments.
Organisers thanked the festival’s major sponsors Berri Barmera Council, Berri Hotel and Riverland Wine and along with Banrock Station and RAA who sponsored the Designated Driver program.
Once again, there was a pronounced social media element at this year’s festival with event goers sharing photos throughout the day on Instagram and Facebook.
