Riverland Wine and Food Festival – Bigger and Better

Planning is well underway for the 2017 Riverland Wine and Food Festival at Berri on Saturday, October 21. Celebrating the Riverland’s youthful wine and food culture, the festival is recognised as one of the highlights of the South Australian wine events calendar.

Set in a unique shady environment overlooking the Murray River at Berri, the festival brings families, friends and visitors from near and far to celebrate the  best the Riverland has to offer – wine, cider, sangria, beer and delicious food with non-stop entertainment provided by All About Her Trio and DJ Jaki J in a vibrant festival ambience.

Jennie Bell, the festival’s event manager, is urging patrons to purchase tickets online in advance to avoid delays at the gate and to be sure not to miss out.  Indications are that this year’s event will be a sell-out.

Once again a free bus service between local towns and the festival will be provided.  Pickup and drop off times are available on the website.

Sponsors for this year’s event are: Riverland Wine, Berri Barmera Council, Berri Resort Hotel Loxton Waikerie Council, Renmark Paringa Council, RAA, 23rd Street Distillery, Wilkadene Woolshed Brewery, Kingston Estate Wines, Berri Riverside Holiday Park and Dominic Wines.
