Viticulture Survey – Get involved

In today’s climate change environment, the wine industry faces multiple challenges, including adapting its practices and reducing greenhouse gas emissions related to its activities.

In response to these challenges, the LIFE-ADVICLIM project aims to study climate change adaptation and mitigation scenarios for a range of vineyards which represent the climatic diversity of wine regions around the globe.

Funded by the European Union, the research project involves a survey devised for winegrowers from 22 wine producing countries. The survey has been developed with the goal of providing a tool to not only acquire insights into winegrowers’ perceptions about a changing environment, but also their priorities to adapt practices and techniques to its associated impacts.

Understanding winegrowers’ needs and intentions toward climate change permits research and policy developments to better identify sustainable measures for the wine sector. The survey is anonymous and only takes about 10 minutes to complete. All the information included in this study will only be used for scientific purposes. Study findings will then be communicated back to wine institutions in each participating country, and also published in an appropriate research journal.

If you want to influence the way R&D levies are spent then take the time to complete this survey.
