The 16th Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference (AWITC) will be held later this month (Sunday, July 24 to Thursday, July 28) at the Adelaide Convention Centre.  This year’s event will incorporate the WFA Outlook Conference and the McWilliam’s Maurice O’Shea Award dinner

Held every three years, the AWITC and Trade Exhibition is the premier technical event for the Australian wine industry.  The purpose of the AWITC is two-fold:

  • to promote and coordinate the dissemination and exchange of technical information for the benefit of the Australian grapegrowing and winemaking industries; and
  • to plan, organise and conduct at regular intervals, conferences, trade exhibitions and other events for persons associated with the grapegrowing and winemaking industries.

This year’s event has a comprehensive program of up-to-date business and technical content, practical workshops, and posters presenting the latest scientific advances. Attendees will also be able to learn about innovative products and technologies at the industry’s premier trade exhibition (AWITE 2016).

Registrations for AWITC can be made online. Phone 8313 6696 for more information.
