There’s not much point in all the technology we have available these days if you only use it to amuse yourself playing games or looking up the weather. Webinars are an effective and easy way to learn about a large number of interesting topics that might answer some of your questions or prompt new ideas for your vineyard or winery business.
If you are not sure about how to participate in webinars but would like to find out, let us know or make mention of it at the Breakfast Meetings. If enough members want to know more Riverland Wine will arrange some tutorial sessions.
An AWRI webinar series that builds on much of the information shared in the recent Berri workshops begins later this month. Do you really understand luxury in wine? will be presented on Thursday, August 18.
Other topics in the series, addressing a range of viticulture and winemaking matters, will include: impact of pruning time and temperature on wine attributes; practical implementation of precision viticulture in vineyards; canopy management using grower-friendly digital tools; the role of soil carbon in drought resilience; innovative pinot noir maceration; measuring up authentication: analytical tools to test wine provenance; ferment simulator; the impact of green berries and petioles on cabernet sauvignon wine.
The current program, and more information, is available on the AWRI website.
