Bookings are now open for the Wine Grape Council of SA’s 2015 SA Winegrape Growers Summit to be held on Friday 17 July at the Adelaide Oval.
A good number of Riverland growers made the journey to the Adelaide Oval last year for what was an excellent industry event. The summit will present information and data that will help you plan for the 2016 vintage and beyond. Organisers are confident that the line-up of speakers this year will provide the best analysis of the tonnes and prices paid by variety in 2015, and demand projections for 2016.
Michael Pascoe, one of Australia’s most experienced finance and economics commentators, will give a special morning presentation on how small business can meet the current round of challenges and grasp opportunities including the recent budget announcement for small businesses ($20K write-off).
The afternoon will feature a number of emerging opportunities and issues for successful grapegrowing in the future as well as showcasing a number of genuine South Australian vineyard innovations.
This is the only dedicated outlook conference for winegrape growers. Don’t miss this great day to learn, catch up with colleagues and discuss and share ideas. Once again Riverland Wine will sponsor a return journey by bus if 20 growers are keen to make the journey. Pick-up points will be organised from Renmark through to Blanchetown if at least 20 growers contact Kate by phone 8584 5816, or email.
Book your tickets by June 17 to take advantage of earlybird special prices and go in a draw to win one of two double passes to the Port Power/Adelaide Crows Showdown on July 19.
