The 2017 South Australian Winegrape Growers Summit will be held at the Barossa Arts and Convention Centre in Tanunda.
Riverland Wine has organised a luxury coach to the summit with pick-up points along the way. This is an ideal opportunity for Riverland growers to ‘fly the flag’. The return bus journey is free and early bird tickets (available until July 7) are $95/person. Tickets purchased after that date are $125 and will only be available online via the summit website.
Convened by the Winegrape Council SA, the summit will look at recent improvements within the grape and wine industry and examine strategies for a more sustainable future.
Invited speakers will present information on a number of topics including:
- The global market outlook;
- Future proofing winegrowing in SA;
- Succession planning
- Thinking outside the square, at the enterprise level
- Advocating industry issues and the role of the Wine Grape Council SA.
Members keen to help shape the next few years in grapes and wine should contact Kate 8584 5816 or email, to reserve their seat on the bus and arrange tickets to the summit.
