Food, wine and agribusiness is a key pillar of South Australia’s economy. The State Government is committed to supporting primary industries to invest, expand and grow, with an objective to accelerate the state’s food, wine and agribusiness sectors with the goal of 3% growth each year.
A discussion paper Growth State: our plan for prosperity is the State Government’s work plan to promote industry growth by responding to industry needs and leveraging South Australia’s competitive advantages.
Key sectors with strong growth prospects have been identified as part of this plan, including food, wine and agribusiness.
A workshop will be held in the Riverland on Monday, October 14, at the Loxton Research Centre.
