Heavy Vehicle Inspection Scheme

Stage Two of the Heavy Vehicle Inspection Scheme will be rolled out in the second half of 2018. Stage Two will continue to include the inspection of heavy trailers and vehicles with a gross vehicle mass or aggregate trailer mass of over 4.5 tonnes, extending on change of ownership requirements to include inspection requirements for vehicles aged four, six and eight years and annually after 10 years of manufacture. Plastic recycling

Sustaining Endeavour is a recycling business that works with growers to encourage them to recycle plastic and support recyclable products. They are particularly interested in recycling plastic irrigation drip tube. Sustainable Endeavour is keen to run a workshop in the Riverland to present information on how growers can be involved in recycling their plastic and lifting sustainability within the region. Please let us know if you would be interested in a workshop being held in the region.

SARDI Rootstock Trials

The SA Research and Development Institute will be working with Wine Australia to expand its research capacity to support the wine industry.
