Wine Australia is presenting a workshop at Angoves Renmark: Lean Production for Wineries on Thursday, October 29, at 8:45am.
The workshop will outline the principles and benefits of Lean Production – a way of doing things to identify and help eliminate hidden, non-essential activities and production steps. It will also include a tour of the winery and packaging facility.
Lean Production is used to sharpen the focus of wineries to help rethink production, reduce high operating costs and simplify day-to-day tasks. It’s a new way of thinking about existing operations. Lean Production can be implemented with little or no cost and simply requires the knowledge to identify and eliminate wasteful activities.
Once implemented, Lean Production can allow better decision-making to result in reduced expenditure, increased profitability and a happier workplace.
