SAWIA has received funding for a Workplace Mental Health Project. As part of the project, training sessions will be held, and a self-assessment tool developed for business.
The project will focus on helping managers and supervisors identify, understand, and manage mental health impacts in the workplace. Participants are expected to be line/area managers and supervisors, as well as small business owners and human resources personnel.
Following input, in relation to potential training content, from the Employment Relations and Work, Health and Safety committees and some of its members, SAWIA are seeking feedback from association members via an online survey.
