This week’s excitement came on the heels of the recent announcement that Pam, Tony and Adam Barich were the in the winners list for the 2018 South Australian Best of Wine Tourism Awards, winning the Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices (Whistling Kite at New Residence).
With Jasmine’s success and WK recognition, the scene is well and truly set for long term sustainable prosperity returning to the region after a challenging time of adjustment. Incidentally, keep an eye out for a future announcement from Chile. The Whistling Kiters are in the running for international recognition as part of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network, which will be announced in Chile this November. Adelaide holds one of the coveted positions and Riverland Wine is a supporter of the program.
Next week we’ll share a few other recent success stories.
