Members of the Riverland Alternative Wine Group (RAWG) have enjoyed another year of success in 2013. The group has delivered some fantastic events that truly showcase the Riverland. RAWG members continue to perform exceptionally well in all facets of their businesses; growing grapes, processing wine, competing on the wine show circuit and on the bottom line of their P&L statements.
Despite their small share of the total Riverland Wine membership and markets, the RAWG members and their wines have punched well above their weight and captured national and international attention over the past four years while promoting the Riverland as a wine growing region in a very positive way.
2014 will present new opportunities for grape growers, winemakers and interested parties to get involved. The Riverland Alternative Wine Group will be holding their annual general meeting on 18 December starting at 6pm, followed by their Christmas party at the Reichstein’s property, corner of Darling and Sixth Street, Renmark North. This will be a great chance to learn more about RAWG and join the fun and success.
