An advertisement calling for nominations of candidates to fill vacant positions on the Riverland Winegrape Growers Association (RWGA) has been published in the Murray Pioneer.
There are eight RWGA representatives on the management committee and terms are for two years. In accordance with the RWGA rules half the committee positions are declared vacant each year. The retiring members this year are Sheridan Alm, Bob Dambergs, Brett Proud and Brett Rosenzweig.
All Riverland winegrowers who have: sold winegrapes in the past 12 months; contributed to the Riverland Wine Industry Fund (RWIF); and not claimed a refund of that contribution are members of RWGA and eligible to be nominated.
If you are interested in nominating and would like more information please contact Chris Byrne at Riverland Wine 0419 555 001 or email.
Nominations close on Monday, July 6. Further information is available on the Riverland Wine website. If required, a ballot will be conducted.
