Three important Strategic Plans with implications for all in the grape and wine industry are being launched in coming weeks. In fact, the plan for the peak industry body for growers and winemakers Australian Grape and Wine (AGW) was released last week at Parliament House in Canberra. David Littleproud, the Minister for Agriculture and his Shadow Minister Joel Fitzgibbon met with Tony Battaglene, CEO of AGW to celebrate the release of the new Vision 2050 document. Members may read the plan and see the video launch with Tony and the two federal parliamentarians.
Further to that important release, stand by for Wine Australia’s Strategic Plan 2020–25 and AOP for 2020–21. These will be released in the next few days. Stay tuned!
When we have all had time to absorb those intentions and outlooks, Riverland Wine will release the new Strategic Plan for this region’s growers and winemakers at the AGM on August 10.
