The minimum water allocations for South Australian River Murray irrigators have increased to 68 per cent.
Rainfall across key catchment areas has helped to improve conditions across the Basin, with controlled storages rising to 43 per cent capacity.
An assessment of the likelihood of increased irrigation allocations currently indicates water allocations will continue to rise in the 2019-20 water year.
The increased allocation is based on the latest water availability advice from the Murray-Darling Basin Authority.
